Our Volunteer Spotlights! Scroll right...

I joined the RSAMCC in 2018 after my husband retired from the Army and we chose Huntsville as our forever home. Throughout the last 30 years, I have volunteered with various military spouse clubs at our different duty stations, as well as with Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) when our children were younger. After my first year with the RSAMCC, I joined the board as the newsletter and publicity chairman. It has been a pleasure to volunteer with this organization and give back to our community. During my eight years on the board, I have served on the Pineapple Open committee, assisted with the wreath-laying ceremonies for Wreaths Across America, served our Korean War veterans at their annual luncheon, and helped decorate the club for the holidays. Every time we moved, I found that volunteering was the easiest and most rewarding way to get involved and meet new people. The RSAMCC is truly unique; there is no better way to make good friends, do good deeds, and have good times!
