I was introduced to this organization by Vida Walls. I had just moved to Huntsville last April, and I knew it was important to meet people and by volunteering it would give me a chance to expand and give back to the community I was so new in. To my surprise, it exceeded my expectations. The Crafty chicks, has renewed my creative side and the Lunch meet ups has introduced me to new restaurants.

I also have signed up and volunteered with Cyber Huntsville, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of cyber and technology in Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley. It is made up of industry, government, and academic institutions dedicated to raising funds for scholarships to High School Seniors to support their desire to continue education in cyber and technology.

I am planning to start volunteering in rescue animal placement in the near future as well.
